Well last weekend the clarity in the river along with the MWT made for difficult fishing. Andy choose to reschedule to this weekend 3-24-24 and man did we make the right choice. Plastic worms tipped with minnows seemed to out fish plastic split tails. Pimp Daddy and Black were the better colors for the day though cadence seemed to be the most important thing to pay attention to. When i say low and slow I mean LOW and SLOW. Keep your set up 0-10 inches off the bottom and slow jigging. Lastly keep moving if the fish are not active or your not catching keepers. There are plenty of fish in the river right now but with the cold temps not all of them are active. We were just up river of the Z bridge all the way to bay city. We avoided the crowds and it paid off!

I start in Detroit this weekend for the next 7 weeks and my schedule is filling fast. Thanks to all that have booked thus far and I look forward to a great jigging season.

Tight lines,

Captain Dale
